Dr. Jeff Jewell, Associate Professor, Lipscomb University and Principal in Ivory Asset Management is a member at Woodmont Hills Church of Christ. 

Dr. Jewell earned his B.A. degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, his MBA from the University of Alabama and his Ph.D. from the University of Florida.  Dr. Jewell is a Certified Financial Analyst Charter Holder.

Dr. Jewell's honors include membership in Beta Gamma Sigma and Delta Mu Delta.    He was the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award for 1998 and 1999.  Dr. Jewell has been the recipient of Outstanding MBA Teacher awards in 2000, 2001 and 2002.
 
Dr. Jewell's professional memberships include the American Finance Association. Financial Management Association, Southern Finance Association, Midwest Finance Association and  Phi Beta Lambda, National social fraternity for business.

Dr. Jewell's research interest include bond ratings and prices, and financial strategy.  He has had articles published in the Journal of Fixed Income, Journal of Financial Research, Financial Markets, Institutions & Instruments among others 

Dr. Jewell teaches the following courses: Investments, Managerial Finance, The Managerial Environment (MBA),
Financial Management & Strategy (MBA), Financial Institutions (MBA), and  Portfolio Management (MBA).
